Annual Yard Sale & On-line Sale Fundraiser!

Yard Sale: June 24th & 25th
Online Sale: June 4th - 25th

Buddha Eye Temple’s Annual Yard Sale and Online Sale are just around the corner! The Sale is our biggest fundraising event, and this year we have a goal of raising $18,000. We need your help to make it there! Please look through your closets, garages, and storage units for high quality items to donate, and ask your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same.

Please read over this post carefully for details on how to donate items, as well as for important information on the many fun and different ways you can volunteer to help us out.

Online Sale
The Online Sale begins June 4th and runs through June 25th. If you would like to make a donation to the Online Sale, we are looking for higher price point items of at least $100. If you have items you think might be a good fit (quality crafts, furniture, rugs, appliances, tools, outdoor gear, exercise equipment, musical instruments, and vehicles) please let us know by sending our team an email at yardsale@buddhaeye.org. Include a description and a photo of the item if possible! We will begin accepting items for the Online Sale on Sunday, June 4th.

Yard Sale
The Yard Sale takes place at the Temple on the weekend of June 24th & 25th. We need donations of all kinds of items to make the Yard Sale a success. Please ensure that all donated items are clean and in good working order. For clothing, please limit your donation to 20 gently used items per-household. Additionally, please refrain from donating downhill ski equipment and outdated electronics as they are generally difficult to sell. We will begin accepting items for the Yard Sale on Sunday, June 11th.

Drop-off times (in the backyard at the temple, under the tent)

Sundays after the morning program: June 11th and June 18th

Weekdays from 1:30pm to 7:00pm: Monday to Friday, June 12th June 21st

Volunteer Opportunities
The temple needs a lot of volunteer support to make the Sale a success. From helping price donated items, organizing and setting up the event, and staffing the sale, there are lots of ways you can help support this important fundraiser. If you are interested in volunteering, please use this link to sign up for a 2 – 3 hour shift, or sign up in person at the temple. Working together is fun and it builds community. No prior experience necessary!
