During this ceremony, we come together to support those individuals in the community who will receive the Precepts this year. Jukai is a solemn, beautiful, and intimate ceremony, in which the giving and the receiving of the Precepts is enacted by our Teacher and cherished members of our community. In observing the ceremony, we can find our own inspiration and spiritual support reflected back to us, simultaneously.
