Term Opening Ceremony, Shuso Entering Ceremony, and Way Seeking Mind

In the Term Opening Ceremony, Term Students step forward to offer their intentions and commitment. The ceremony is a great encouragement for all, whether one intends to become a Term Student or not.
Along with the Term Opening Ceremony, this Sunday, Shuso Jakuen de la Paz will enact a Shuso Entering Ceremony, and also offer a "Way Seeking Mind" talk. In a Way Seeking Mind talk, the Head Student or the Shuso is invited to express the core of what sustains a practitioner on the path of awakening. In this talk, Shuso Jakuen will share about their life, their entry to Zen practice and ordination, as well as the challenges and inspirations in walking the path.
