Forest Bathing: Transforming Our Relationship with the More Than Human World

Tuesday, 9/14
6:30pm - 8:30pm
Led by: Koji Anyu Savelle

(Online available – please email Anyu to arrange)

Join Anyu as she leads a “forest bath” on the Blanton Ridge trail. Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to “forest bath.” A forest bath is spending time outdoors immersing oneself in nature and soaking in the atmosphere through the senses. It is a practice for transforming our relationship with the more than human world. Anyu is training to be a guide through the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides and Programs (https://www.natureandforesttherapy.earth)

We will meet at the trailhead by 6:20. For questions and/or to register for the walk, please email Anyu debraanyu@gmail.com no later than end of day Sunday September 12.
