Head Teacher Ejo McMullen
In mid-October we will celebrate the installation of our first abbot in a series of ceremonies known as the "Mountain Seat". The community's integrity, vibrancy, and generosity have now made it possible for us not only to honor Ejo as the first abbot of Buddha Eye, but to establish the "office of the abbot" through which successive abbots will care for the temple and community for generations to come. This Sunday Ejo will speak about the importance of this Dharma gate we are passing through.
