Oh, Eyes of night, flow into the dawn, . . . her face, the darkness carries forth, opening wide the journey, again and again, our story begins. This community circle and class is designed to introduce the many ways to gain insight into archetypal patterns - through dreams, poetic reverie and practice. It is not so much analyzing the specifics of the night dream but intimations in regard to the quality and significance of dreaming, of which the night dream is a part. We will recite poems and stories from various traditions based on particular archetypal themes. Participants will be encouraged to write and share their own stories, evoked by images, learning, practice, and both our day and night dreams.
