This Sunday: Discipline is not What You Think
Sunday, September 13th
Zazen 9:00am
Assembly 10:00am
Led by Abbot Ejo McMullen
The zen tradition encourages us to sit in meditation regularly; at least once a day is best. It takes discipline, but we often misunderstand this discipline as force. The ancestors are not interested in strength and domination. They are inviting us into a discipline of honesty, integrity, care, and exploration. As we enter the early autumn, join Abbot Ejo McMullen for a discussion on cultivating true discipline in the art of zazen.
