Each of us yearns to live authentically, brightly; yet we find that our life is a dense thicket of desires, relationships, goals, and circumstances. How do we cultivate vibrancy amidst this tangle of choices we find ourselves spinning each day? Buddhist ethics invite us to look deeply and become intimate with our own connected heart. Moving through the world, meeting decision after decision: every encounter may be the lively well-spring of liberation meeting us as the demands of a complex world. In this class we will study the sixteen precepts of a Bodhisattva and the path of exploration they offer.
